About Us

AV Elite is a 501(c)(3) corporation that provides services to youth of all ages through sports. 

Since 2014, Coach Alvin Armstrong Jr. has been developing and mentoring the youth through coaching basketball. Coaching at multiple levels, from recreational to high school varsity, and also being a referee, he has the ability to bring multiple perspectives to the game.  Coach Armstrong has played a role in hundreds of players and students lives as he mentors them on and off the court.  His perspective of basketball brings life lessons and empowers players to be better community supporters.  His focus when it comes to his program is not on winning, but uplifting the youth of the Antelope Valley. Even today Coach Armstrong continues to put the time in to keep upon his own training, through personal programs and adult league games.

At AV Elite, we believe in the power of sports to uplift and empower the youth. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment where young athletes can grow, learn, and thrive through basketball.
